Jeffersontown defeats Manuel with a score of 65-56 at Wednesday’s L.I.T game at Bellarmine University. Thomas Jackson returned to the team scoring 25 points with a lot of help from his team mates. Coach Jeff Morrow says, “Thomas played a very good game on both ends and was very hard to guard.”

With 3:12 remaining in the game, Desmond Dorsey gave the team his first lead of the game with an outstanding lay-up turning the score to 54-53. Desmond scored 11 points throughout the game; also scoring the last two free throws of the game allowing J-town to win. “Slow start, but great second half. The team rebounded very well and did an excellent job by winning,” says Coach.

Richard Kennedy also gave a supurb effort in last night’s game, guarding Sean Samuels and scoring 10 points in the game along with Trey Porter. Coach commented on Richard by saying, “He did a great job setting down scores offensively and defensively.” Coach Jeff Morrow congrats the team and comments on how well Richard and Thomas played in the game. “After the first quarter, they played well holding to 29 and the defense was great.”
