Big Drama Hits J’town

Posted on 29 January 2010 by Erin Boucher

Mrs. Delancey has brought the drama back to J’town High School.  And that’s a good thing!   In her first year at J’town Mrs. Delancey is teaching a drama class and is  also putting together a full blown play the weekend of March 26.

The production will be a comic spoof of an Agatha Christie-like murder mystery:  Death by Chocolate.  The cast consists of five men and five women and one poor guy that will be murdered in the opening scene.

Auditions were held last Thursday and Friday, and all of the J’town student body was encouraged to try out. Close to forty students showed up but some were concerned about the five-days-a week 2 1/2 hour practices from Feb 1- March 12. But don’t worry. Any students that want to be a part of the play but can’t devote that much time can always help build sets, sell tickets and other behind-the-scenes jobs that help the play run.
